It began by exploring basic forms and imagining them as being made of pure light, being able to connect, fuse and interact between each other. Thats why 3D printing was the perfect technology to develop this idea. The body is wide and comfortable, making it the perfect chair to extend conversations or dinner with friends.  This chair is the second version of a previous design that, due to production issues, needed to be changed. We wanted to create a continuos line as a handle, and transmit the minimal essence of this particular element to the collection.To obtain this integration, a frame was created to surround the upper perimeter of the furniture topped with an oak veneer finishing. Santa & Cole with Capicua http://carlosgr.es/Santa-Cole-with-Capicua Thu, 20 Oct 2022 14:33:37 +0000 Carlos García | Product Design & Art Direction 432315 C(G)VSanta & Cole x Casa Capicúa w/ Casa Capicúa, Cristina HernándezArt Direction For this project Casa Capicúa asked us to collaborate with them in the creation of the food installation they were creating for Santa&Cole. The menu was focused on the idea of “L’Horta” and kilometre zero products. In order to enhance this idea, we created a series of vegetable sculptures using those products, creating dinamic center pieces that catchs the attention of the viewer, but also playfully interacts with the light of the lamps that were integrated in those.
